Funko Fusion Trailer Reveals Games Evil Shapeshifting Villain Eddy Funko, Voiced by C
In the story trailer for Funko‘s first-ever console video game “Funko Fusion,” the brand’s titular Freddy Funko is introduced to the title’s supervillain: his evil copycat, Eddy Funko.
The “deeply twisted and immensely powerful shapeshifting counterpart” to Freddy is voiced by “Invincible” star Clancy Brown, who promises Freddy and characters from “Shaun of the Dead,” “Five Night’s at Freddy’s,” “The Umbrella Academy” and more NBCUniversal franchises scattered across the game: “Your worlds will fall. Your people will suffer. And I will have infinite power!”
Per Funko’s description for the AAA game developed by 10:10 Games, “With dreams of total domination, Eddy wields the dark ability to possess the inhabitants of ‘Funko Fusion’s’ pop culture-inspired worlds, building an army of corrupted characters inspired by franchises including ‘Jurassic World,’ ‘Back to the Future,’ ‘The Thing,’ ‘Chucky,’ and many more. As players strive to fight back, they’ll build their own team of playable heroes, each with unique tools for use in both combat and puzzles.”

The “Funko Fusion” trailer was show to the audience during the video game’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con Friday, where 10:10 Games, Funko and Universal Products and Experiences promoted the game.
“Funko Fusion’s” Comic-Con panelists included 10:10 Games’ CEO and founder Jon Burton and co-founder and head of publishing Arthur Parsons, Funko’s VP of licensing and business development Jason Bischoff, Monkeypaw Productions’ creative director and Jordan Peele’s producing partner Ian Cooper, and voice actor Kellen Goff, who is reprising his role as Freddy Fazbear from “Five Nights at Freddy’s” in Funko Fusion.
“I’ve been lucky to play various versions of the bear for 8 years, but my take on the original Freddy Fazbear has never seen the light of day until now,” Goff told Variety. I’m positively corybantically excited and grateful to finally have the chance to give voice to Freddy Fazbear, thanks to Funko Fusion.”
He added: “There are many reasons I’m excited to voice Freddy Fazbear in ‘Funko Fusion!’ Funko Pops! have been a huge part of my life for almost a decade (Happy 10th Anniversary, FNaF!), and past projects of the 10:10 Games’ team have been favorites of mine for even longer. I’m enraptured to see this real life fusion come to fruition as ‘Funko Fusion,’ and beholden to be a part of it.”
